This skill allows a character that has the proper equipment to double their movement rate while climbing down a sheer surface. The equipment needed for repelling is located in chapter 4; equipment. A failed roll does not mean that the character will fall; it simply means they have not gained the movement bonus. However they could become tangled in their rope or their rope use and ability to properly setup their rig was not done successfully and falling is a possibility, this should be determined by the GM based on the diversity the skill check was failed.
