This skill gives the character knowledge of grapples and how to use ropes and the techniques of lodging or tangling them to hold tight. By succeeding in a roll the character successfully grapple or create a firm hold with their grappling hook so that they may begin climbing up a wall or cliff. A character will notice faults and dangers before they occur, avoiding dangerous possibilities as a result of climbing without a firm hold, they will also have an idea of how much weight their grapple will hold before attempting to climb.
